Isley Robson is in love with the written word. There is nothing she enjoys more than being swept up in an unputdownable story. By day, she writes for—and about—lawyers. By night, she writes lyrical books about quirky people who find their perfect match. Her debut novel, THE FIRST WORD, book one of the VISIONARIES series, will be published in April 2017 by Montlake Romance.
Her writing has won or placed in eleven romance writing contests, including the Orange Rose/Charlotte, the Fire and Ice, the Catherine, and the Laurie. Isley earned an Honours degree in Communication at the University of Technology Sydney before moving from Australia to the Boston area to pursue a Ph.D. in Sociology. When she finally came to her senses, she decamped to work in corporate communications (because a roof over one’s head is an important thing), while quietly carrying out her master plan to write fiction.
Isley lives in New England with her husband (also a writer), two children, and ancient hairless dog. She misses the heat and glamour of Sydney—and, of course, her family and friends Down Under—but she doesn’t miss the giant cockroaches.
