Molly Ker Hawn
Former romance writer turned intrepid farm girl Suzanne McMinn writes one of the most popular personal websites in the United States, sharing her photos, recipes, crafts, and laugh-out-loud adventures. Chickens in the Road chronicles her photography, (sometimes silly, sometimes serious) stories, recipes, crafts, and sentimental thoughts on the history, people, life, and beauty of rural America, experiences and lessons learned in farming, cooking, simple living, and cute barnyard animals. An author, teacher, and photographer, she has had 26 novels published by Harlequin, Bantam, and Kensington, and writes a column for the Charleston Daily Mail. In October, 2013, HarperCollins will publish Chickens in the Road: An Adventure in Ordinary Splendor, a memoir based on her blog. (Cows, cookies, high water, and love!) She lives on a 100-acre farm in West Virginia.
