Constance Cooper

Constance Cooper’s debut fantasy novel, GUILE, was released by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Clarion Books in 2016 and was a Junior Library Guild Selection. Constance’s short fiction has appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction, Strange Horizons, and Lightspeed Magazine, among others. Her work has been podcast and has been translated into two languages.

Constance earned an MA in Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a linguistic researcher, website developer, and software engineer. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
