Robert Edelstein was born a few blocks away from Yankee Stadium…so of course he’s written three books about NASCAR. They include NASCAR GENERATIONS (Harper Collins), and two books published by the Overlook Press: FULL THROTTLE: THE LIFE AND FAST TIMES OF NASCAR LEGEND CURTIS TURNER (which was reviewed on the cover of the Sunday New York Times Book Review) and NASCAR LEGENDS (winner of the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association book of the year). He lives with his family in New Jersey, and is co-chair of his town’s environmental commission.
