Before becoming a full time author, Sibéal worked as a writer and researcher for the Financial Times’ How To Spend It section where she covered lifestyle news and wrote a monthly philanthropy column. Other writing credits include Vogue.com, Glamourmagazine.co.uk and fashion trend-forecasting company WGSN. She studied History at St Andrews University, Publishing at City and the Printing Revolution and Quentin Tarantino film (an odd mix, yes) at Yale.

She lives in London. She is the author of the Witch Wars and Bad Mermaids series, and Christmas MG standalone TINSEL. Sibéal also wrote a sequel to Eva Ibbotson’s classic THE SECRET OF PLATFORM 13, titled BEYOND PLATFORM 13.
