Benjamin Rosenbaum’s stories have been published in Harper’s, McSweeney’s, Nature, Tor.com, Asimov’s, F&SF, various best-ofs, textbooks, and art projects (one of which was acquired for the Australian National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection). They have been nominated for the Hugo, Nebula, BSFA, World Fantasy, Locus, and Sturgeon Awards, translated into 25 languages, animated (winning Best Animated Short at SXSW in 2010); and collected in THE ANT KING AND OTHER STORIES (Small Beer, 2008). Rosenbaum has been, at one time or another, a computer programmer, party clown, synagogue president, and rugby flanker. Originally from the Washington, DC area, he currently lives with his wife and their two teenage kids near Basel, Switzerland. His first novel was published in German as DIE AUFLOSUNG in May 2018.
