Sera Birdie Milano is a children’s and YA author.

Writing for younger readers as Birdie Milano, she is the author of the comic romances BOY MEETS HAMSTER and BOY MEETS GHOUL. She has also written the dark and topical YA novels THIS CAN NEVER NOT BE REAL and VILE STARS as Sera Milano.

Before writing her first novel, Sera dabbled in theatre, worked as a bookseller, taught drama classes and dispensed romantic advice to internet daters. She lives in Surrey with Moppet the rescue dog and Ziggy the wonky cat, and when not writing she can be found trying to keep 200+ houseplants alive.
