Cady Owens grew up on the Northern California coast and now lives in London, where the weather is almost as foggy as in her hometown. She has an English degree from UCLA and spent several years working as an editor in academic publishing. She loves being outside and can often be found backpacking, hiking, or rock climbing in whatever country had the cheapest RyanAir flight available that weekend.
