As Rights Manager at the Bent Agency, I sell translation rights to our clients’ books all over the world. Born in the Netherlands but mostly raised in Germany, I’ve always been interested in languages. I came to the UK in 2013 to study English and Journalism at Stirling University, before moving down south to take the Publishing Media MA at Oxford Brookes University. During my time there I interned at the Sylvie Zannier Literary Scouting Agency. In 2018 I started in the Usborne Publishing rights department, where I sold rights in languages from Aramaic to Welsh. I joined the Bent Agency in 2023.

I'm an avid reader and I have favourites in almost every genre — just don’t ask me to pick the one ultimate favorite! What grips me in any book are strong characters and beautiful narration. I want to be hooked from page one and be left guessing throughout.
