Hannah Mathewson

Hannah Mathewson (she/her) was brought up in Ely, then later in Norwich. She spent most of her childhood drawing the people and places of her imagination, but realised as a teenager that she wasn’t that good at it, and started writing her creations instead. Since graduating from the University of East Anglia with a BA in Film and Television, she has worked in a cinema, a library, and an archive while pursuing a writing career.

Her debut fantasy novel, WITHERWARD, was published in 2021. WAYWARD, a second novel set in the same universe, will follow in 2022.
