Before becoming an author, Holly worked as a script editor for various production companies, including Aardman Animations and Red Planet Pictures. When she fell pregnant shortly after being made redundant, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a full time writer. Holly’s debut YA urban fantasy trilogy, MIDNIGHT’S TWINS, A GATHERING MIDNIGHT and A MIDNIGHT DARK AND GOLDEN was published by Hot Key Books in 2020-2022. Her adult, Tudor-inspired fantasy SIX WILD CROWNS will be published by Orbit UK and US in 2025. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and daughter, and when she isn’t writing she can usually be found baking, lindy hop dancing, or watching YouTube videos on how to renovate old houses.
