Lisa is a writer and nonprofit communications professional from the Chicago area. She is the author of MILKED (2014), POINTS (2020) and LONGCUTS (2022), and was a contributor to WOMEN REINVENTED: TRUE STORIES OF EMPOWERMENT AND CHANGE (2010). Passionate about conservation, Lisa works in digital marketing at a zoo, and spends her free time with her husband and son exploring zoos and aquariums around the country.  She also enjoys reality TV, crossword puzzles, reading, checklists, giving her unsolicited opinion, and carbs.
