Michael Rubens is a producer and correspondent for TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and he has four published novels, the most recent ones being THE BAD DECISIONS PLAYLIST and EMILY AND THE SPELLSTONE. His 2012 novel SONS OF THE 613 was selected by Kirkus Reviews, YALSA, and Tablet Magazine as one of the best books of the year. Stephen Colbert called his first novel, THE SHERIFF OF YRNAMEER, “A science fiction book your grandmother will love — if she’s a lustful, violent lady.”
